It’s within your power to live the healthy balanced life you desire, no matter how busy you are or how tired you are.
I want to help you figure out how to make taking care of you an important part of your every day routine.
In our current Health Care system, almost no time is spent discussing daily diet and lifestyle.
People are still gaining weight and getting sick despite an abundance of advice to eat more fruits and vegetables, exercise and cut out junk food.
There’s a desperate need for straightforward, honest advice on how to become healthier.
As a health coach I offer guidance and inspiration to help you create healthier habits by making small but consistent changes to their lifestyle and diet.
You will learn about new healthy foods, and the concept of primary foods. As a result you will develop a deeper understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that improve your energy, balance and health.
Instead of prescribing one diet or one way of exercising, each client will become self-sufficient at embracing health and lifestyle choices that work for them.
Eating healthily doesn’t have to be confusing or difficult.
I want to simplify health and wellness. I want to empower you to take control of your own health. I want to help you transform your health goals from dreams into reality.
My Story

Hi I’m Cate. I’m a mum, a wife and a certified holistic health coach.
I was always interested in health and wellness.
I grew up on a farm in rural Ireland and my mother was always ahead of her time with regards to food. She prepared wholesome, natural, home cooked meals that my father had grown organically.
I moved to London, studied nursing at Middlesex University and spent many years working in the NHS, caring for thousands of patients with many different illnesses and health issues.
I began to notice that we only ever treated the symptoms, a pill for every ill.
We rarely gave nutrition or lifestyle advice. With many of the chronic diseases that patients presented with it became evident that in many cases the lifestyle choices patients were making were contributing towards their ill health.
There had to be another way.
I believe that stress is the number one obstacle to health and wellness, it has such a negative impact on our health and well-being.
We are living in a fast paced, hyper-connected world.
It would be unrealistic of me to say ‘you need to live a stress free life’, in fact a little stress is good for you, but too much stress affects your energy, weight, mood, hormones and so on.
I experienced this myself first hand. I was working long hours, taking very little time off to rest, I ate on the run and didn’t make time to exercise. I was living my life at full speed.
I didn’t realise how stressed I was and how it was affecting me. Nursing can be physically, mentally and emotionally draining and I was exhausted, stressed and unhappy.
I began to explore a more holistic approach to health.
I took a year out to go travelling with my now husband and I became obsessed with finding my healthiest self. I read tons of nutritional and self care books, learned to mediate and gradually learned to slow down.
Once I started taking better care of myself by nourishing my body with natural wholesome foods and green juices, meditation and making self-care an absolute priority my life improved so much.
We returned from travelling and I continued nursing but we moved from London to Bristol and enjoyed a much slower pace of life. I worked at Neals Yard Natural Remedies and it was here that I learned so much about herbs, Bach Flower Remedies, Natural organic products, essential oils and so much more.
I trained as a reflexologist and Indian head massage therapist and practiced at the beautiful Relaxation Centre in Bristol.
I wanted to learn more so I trained as a Health Coach at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the worlds top health and wellness experts.
My teachers included:
Dr Andrew Weir Director of the Arizona Centre for Integrative Medicine
Dr Deepak Chopra, Leader in the field of mind, body spirit
Dr Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition, Havard School of Public Health.
Integrative Nutrition covers cutting edge and holistic Nutritional concepts.

No one diet works for everyone, and my passion is to help you find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you.
My approach is not about a magic pill or a quick fix.
Being on a diet is not fun, nor is it sustainable.
Its about a lifestyle, it’s about adding in the good food that makes you feel your best, and throwing out the bad foods that decreases your energy.
At it’s core, my programme is all about helping you to find ways that nurture you – to bring joy and balance into your life.
I firmly believe that nutritious food and positive lifestyle choices are the foundations of good health. Stress and anxiety can have such a negative effect on our well-being.
My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition and preventive health.
It’s all about balance, no extremes. It’s about listening to your body and doing what’s right for you.
I can help you to create the habits you need to take care of yourself every day, because our healthy habits are what allows us to become the best versions of ourselves and feel the most content.
